Santana Dempsey has made a notable impression as a versatile mixed race actress. She has made a remarkable name for herself as an actress, writer, and mixed race advocate in the Hollywood industry. Recently, Santana was cast as a leading role in the Lifetime Movie Shaker Pointe coming out in February 2015. She will be in this film alongside talented actors such as: Corbin Bleu, Lil Romeo, Tamala Jones, Shanica Knowles, Mike Beach, Dawnn Lewis.

Santana is also co-starring the third season of HBO’s hit drama The Newsroom and Direct T.V's new drama Kingdom. Her other credits include:
French Dirty (2015), Evolve (filming), English Vinglish (2012), Scholastics Read180 (2009-2010) and Courtside (2014).
As a University of Missouri alumnus, Santana is a veteran of New York City's Primary Stages, INTAR, Soho Rep, Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre and Carnegie Hall. She also wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed one-woman show, The Other Box that is set to be performed this November in Los Angeles.
Santana is an ambassador for the non-profit “Mixed Roots Foundation” which helps to bring awareness to anyone touched by adoption. Currently, she is working on an interdisciplinary art project called “Somewhere In Between” that celebrates identity and diversity.
